About Us

Cinch began as a student-led entrepreneurship project inspired by a simple, everyday problem. At our high school, a “jeans-only” dress code meant we were constantly ordering denim online, only to return or alter most pairs because of poor fit.

Around campus, girls were tying shoelaces and rubber bands around their waists as makeshift belts. Frustrated by endless exchanges and expensive alterations, we even tried sewing our own jeans tighter. Bulky belts weren’t part of the look, so they weren’t an option.

We knew there had to be a better way.

That’s when Cinch was born, a simple, stylish solution designed to make jeans fit effortlessly.
